Hello and welcome to the Mead Hall, or Stora Salen as we say in Scandi, here at Fensala. If you just arrived from the outside world, you may want to take a moment to readjust your expectations and try to wrap your head around the fact that you have entered a fantasy realm.

Ulfrheim may not exist in the “real” world, whatever that is, but to me, this place is very real. I’ve spent a considerable amount of time exploring this space and getting to know its inhabitants, so it feels like a second home now. See, that’s the kind of magic writers wield. We make things up and, if we are lucky, they resonate with our readers and eventually come alive in their minds as well.

Right now, I’m only here to wish you a warm welcome to my realm where Fensala is the biggest settlement. This Mead Hall is not just the heart of Fensala, but of the whole realm. Everything of importance is discussed, decided and disseminated from here.
